Another Day Another Post Office Post

My seemingly never ending battle with the royal mail continues this week, My parents have Birthdays a week apart so I stuck their Birthday Cards and Presents in a big jiffy bag took them down to the post office and sent them recorded delivery. We are now over 10 days latter and they have still not arrived. Apparently they have only had a postman visit them with mail once in the last fortnight. I am surprised? No, an I surprised that every time I switch on the telly I see a new post office advert? No. This does make me worry with Christmas only round the corner, after the lack of summer is the royal mail wreck Christmas for the nation I do not think they will be forgiven quickly.
